The Mike Oborski Memorial Bigos Bar

It is with great sadness that I have to tell our many visitors that Mike Oborski passed away after a long battle with cancer. 

This web site stemmed from a longstanding private joke between Mike and myself. It grew from a one page site to a multi layered frames web with lots of interesting information about Polish culture and music, as well as Bigos and drinks.

I have moved this web site back to a free Tripod location and I will stop funding the bigosbar.com domain and the site in a few weeks. The Bigos Bar is renamed the "Mike Oborski Memorial Bigos Bar" and will continue on Tripod in his memory, and as a beacon for all in cyberspace who want to hear Mike's and my message of "Smacznego!"
